Warning Signs in Printing.
Not everyone invests the energy required to do things right.
Few industries have enjoyed the remarkable improvements afforded the printing industry. From computers, to imaging, to new inks, each innovation has made the modern printing process better and more affordable... at least for the customer.
Each innovation costs the printer time, money and intellectual energy. Some are content to "do things like they have always been done." That sentiment has a nostalgic charm, but can severely limit your choices in getting your finished product.
Our 35 years of experience enable us to translate the past into the future for you in exciting new ways.
Some warning signs when shopping for a new printer include:
1). Excessive turn around time. - If your printer is "farming out" your job because he lacks the equipment to do it, you are subsidizing his business with the value of your time.
2). Immediate turn around time. - There are no magic wands. A good job demands that an experienced eye looks over your work before it is on paper.
3). Limited choices. - Don't settle for a "close enough color."
Get exactly what you want.
4). Disparaging remarks about dramatic effects. - You need to be able to trust your printer. Some effects can dramatically improve your client's "Ah-hah" moment. Others just cost a lot to do. If your printer can't show you effective ways to do what you want, then ask around.
